There are no available spots left at this year’s Plant it Forward.

Our Plant It Forward campaign in the Fall of 2019 was a success! Tower Grove Park wants to continue to engage the community in helping keep the display beds throughout the Park beautiful and enjoyable for all.

This year we are going to do things a little differently. To ensure the safety of our volunteers and employees during Covid-19 we are keeping our numbers low (only 3-5 people at a time), but we will have more dates available.

Plant it Forward will be initiated in multiple phases:

Phase 1: Cleaning and prepping the display beds. This involves digging up and pulling plants, possibly taking some of these plants home with you, and rehabilitating the soil in the display beds.

Phase 2: Planting bulbs and joining us in Spring 2021 to dig up and collect these bulbs!

Phase 1: Tuesday, 29-Sept; Monday, 5-Oct; Wednesday, 7-Oct
Phase 2: Tuesday, 20-Oct; Thursday, 22-Oct; Monday, 26-Oct; Wednesday, 28-Oct
Time: 8:30 to about 10:30 am
Location: Meet in front of Piper Palm House on the Plaza (4271 Northeast Dr, St. Louis MO 63110)
Supplies: Masks (volunteers will not be allowed to help without a mask), water bottle, work clothes, sunscreen, tools and gloves (optional)

(It is important to note that signing up does not guarantee a spot. Our Volunteer Coordinator will be in touch to confirm your date(s) and priority will be given to those who can help with both phase 1 and phase 2.)
