Plant it Forward is a bi-annual campaign that engages the community in helping maintain the beautiful display beds in Tower Grove Park. In addition to providing necessary work for the park, volunteers will learn firsthand the types of plants in our display beds, how to tend to these plants, and on occasion take some plants home.
Time: 9-11 a.m.
Location: Meet in front of Piper Palm House on the Plaza (4271 Northeast Dr, St. Louis MO 63110)
Supplies: Masks (volunteers will not be allowed to help without a mask), water bottle, work clothes, sunscreen, tools and gloves (optional)
Fall works includes:
• Digging cannas, elephant ears, and other plant varietals.
• Clearing display beds of debris.
• Aid in planting 20,000+ bulbs for spring season.
