The Alzheimer’s Association Greater MO Chapter is celebrating Brain Awareness Month by focusing on healthy living. Join us for an hour and a half of honoring your brain. The program will include a short informational bit on how to maintain your brain and body for a healthy life. It will conclude with a relaxing Qigong session provided by the Zhineng Qigong Community.
Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice of cultivating vital life force energy to bring body, mind, and spirit into health, harmony, and balance through the use of slow movements and postures. Please bring water and dress in comfortable clothes for movement. You may want a yoga mat, towel, or chair when practicing.
