Mindfulness Meditation is a practice that connects you with the present, allowing you to become more aware of your surroundings while releasing negative energy and calming your body and mind. During this workshop, the instructor will first guide you through mindfulness exercises as a group. We'll then spend 10 minutes in quiet meditation, followed by an (optional) walk for world peace through the Park.
Mindfulness Meditation in the Park runs the second and fourth Sundays of the month at the West End Picnic Site. Bring water and place to practice (i.e. yoga mat, towel, or chair). Walk-in setup. We maintain 6-feet of social distancing and we bring masks just in case anyone prefers us to mask.
Participants are encouraged to register in advance. Walk-ins are welcome.
