Crochet is a great hobby to connect with nature whether crocheting outside in nature, or crocheting a nature project! At this Nature Crocheters session, we will be crocheting pinecone ornaments. Before we begin creating our ornaments, we will learn about Missouri’s native pine, and the important role it plays in its ecosystem. You should know how to crochet and be familiar with chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet to participate in this program. Please email the instructor if you’d like instructional videos to learn these stitches.
This program is offered by the Missouri Department of Conservation.
