Black History Month Tree Dedication Ceremony

In celebration of Black History Month and continuance of a 30-year history, Tower Grove Park will host local students for a tree planting and dedication ceremony. The 4th grade class of St. Margaret of Scotland School have chosen Sister Mary Antona Ebo, FSM, an American nun and civil rights activist who worked in St. Louis and marched in Selma alongside Dr. Martin Luther King, as the honoree.

Students will share prepared writings and artworks about Sister Antona at the tree dedication ceremony at 9:00am on Friday, February 24 near the Stupp Center. Park patrons are invited to attend this free community event.
