Children's Performance Series: St. Louis Irish Arts

IMPORTANT UPDATE: DUE TO CONSTRUCTION WORK AT THE STUPP CENTER AMPHITHEATER, OUR JUNE 7 PERFORMANCE HAS BEEN RELOCATED INDOORS TO THE PIPER PALM HOUSE, LOCATED AT 4271 NORTHEAST DRIVE. At this time, all other performances should take place at the Stupp Center Amphitheater as previously scheduled.

Join us at the outdoor amphitheater of the Tower Grove Park Stupp Center for a series of summer fun! Children and families will enjoy performances from storytellers, musicians, dancers, and more as they clap along and learn a few moves. Series takes place Fridays at 10:00am, June 7 – July 26, 2024. The performance series is free and open to the public. Registration is not required.

friday, june 7: St. Louis Irish Arts

St. Louis Irish Arts have been teaching and performing traditional Irish music, song and dance in St. Louis for almost 50 years. Your child will love learning about all the different kinds of Irish instruments, watching the intricate footwork of the dancers, and singing along to a traditional song!

This performance takes place inside the Piper Palm House. Some chairs are provided, but blankets are encouraged.

Audio description services are available upon request with several weeks notice.

FAQ

  • Registration is not required.

  • Building opens at 9:30 am.

  • Guests may bring a small picnic blanket for sitting. Some chairs are provided.

  • Water is provided on site, but snacks are not provided in 2024. Guests are welcome to bring their own to all dates except for the puppet show.

  • On this date, restrooms are available inside the Palm House.

  • This performance will take place rain or shine, as it is located indoors.
