Nature Crocheters: Wildflowers of Missouri

  • Tower Grove Park - Stupp Center 3616 Southeast Drive St. Louis, MO, 63110 United States (map)

Crochet is a great hobby to connect with nature whether crocheting outside in nature or crocheting a nature project! At this Nature Crocheters session, we will be learning about Missouri’s native wildflowers. Then we’ll use a beginner-friendly pattern to crochet a simple sunflower granny square that can be great as a coaster or the foundation of a crochet blanket or bag!

For this program, participants should know how to crochet and be familiar with chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet. Please email the instructor if you’d like instructional videos to learn these stitches.

All supplies will be provided including #4 weight yarn, and 5 mm crochet hooks.

Please register each participant individually.

This program is offered by the Missouri Department of Conservation.
