Due to weather forecasts for this weekend, the Stargazing & Story Time at Tower Grove Park scheduled for Saturday, September 14 has been canceled. Please join us next month on Saturday, October 12 for the next Stargazing at Tower Grove Park program.

6:00 - 6:30pm: Story Time with St. Louis Public Library

Staff from St. Louis Public Library will lead a free storytime at 6:00pm! Enjoy a selection of themed stories, songs, and movement.

6:30 - 8:30pm: Stargazing with St. Louis Astronomical Society

Calling all amateur astronomers young and old! Join us on the West End of the Park April - October for monthly stargazing and telescope viewings provided by St. Louis Astronomical Society. Find us after sunset in the field between the Stone Shelter and West End Picnic Site. Several telescopes will be available for you to look at whatever is visible - the moon, planets and stars! Feel free to bring your own equipment as well. This family-friendly event is ideal for anyone interested in learning about our solar system.

Street parking is available along Northwest and Southwest Drive, and restrooms are available at the West End Picnic Site. This event is weather-contingent, so please check back for updates.

Site will be very dark to limit light pollution and increase our ability to see the sky. Flashlights are encouraged to navigate to the field.
