Join our Horticulture Supervisor, Steve Hogenmiller, and our Community Engagement Manager, Tara Morton, for a fun opportunity to get up close and personal with the water plants of Tower Grove Park! Enjoy a visit to our greenhouse to see where water lilies and more are overwintered. Then we’ll visit the lily ponds to see a demonstration on how plants like pickerel weed, water lilies, papyrus, cannas, ferns and more and more are transplanted to and grown in the ponds. We’ll discuss the history of this area of the park as well as future plans.
