History Series
Sesquicentennial Lecture Series
During our 150th year, we invite you to attend one of our three lectures by local historians.
Lectures will be held between 2-3 p.m. in the Stupp Center at Tower Grove Park. Admission is free, and these are open to the public. Lectures will have limited in-person capacity.
Past Lectures
Watch the recording of the lecture from 2021 by Annette Fogt Crawford, daughter of longtime landscape foreman, August Fogt.
Wreath Laying Ceremonies
Celebrate the lives of William Shakespeare and Alexander von Humboldt as groups lay wreaths at their respective statues in the Park. A dignified ceremony takes place, followed by refreshments.
