February 17 - National Historic Landmarks

Esley wrote the nomination that made Tower Grove Park one of only eight National Historic Landmark parks.

March 17 - Turkish Pavilion History
Tower Grove Park boasts the greatest collection of Victorian Pavilions in the world. Designed and constructed between 1870 and 1872, each pavilion has it own unique, ornamental design articulated through detail and vibrant paint colors creating one-of-a-kind structures. Amanda Truemper, Associate with local architecture firm, Trivers, was Project Manager for the recent restoration of Turkish Pavilion. Amanda will join us for this Member Morning to share some interesting facts about Turkish Pavilion’s history as well as its recent restoration.
May 19 - Historic Stable & Equestrian Program
Learn more about Tower Grove Park’s historic stable and our favorite horses, Moonshine and Sheffield.
Executive Director Bill Reininger will discuss the importance of this historic structure. Will Rein, Director of Operations and Special Projects, will discuss the preservation and restoration efforts, and Jeff Kinman, Stable Manager, will discuss the equestrian program.

September 15 - Exploring the East Stream
