Mingle and be merry at Frosted, a holiday pop-up bar
Mingle and be merry at Frosted, a holiday pop-up bar in the Piper Palm House on Dec. 19-Dec. 23.
Tower Grove Park is turning its distinctive Piper Palm House into a winter wonderland. Frosted, a five-day holiday cocktail event, will feature live music, nightly performances, local food trucks, and snacks by STL Pretzel Boys. A menu of unique, holiday-inspired cocktails—created by Pat Gioia from The Block and Katiana Tactikos, formally of Taste—will be available, in addition to a hot cocktail bar by The Wandering Sidecar Bar Co.
On Sunday, Dec. 22, Frosted will open early (11 a.m.) and feature special family fun-day festivities until 4 p.m., including appearances from Dancakes and Cotton Crafters Holiday Cotton Candy, as well as The Firechasers performing on stilts and wheels. Sunday morning/afternoon will also feature food from Kitchen Kulture.
A portion of all proceeds will benefit Tower Grove Park. Located in the heart of Tower Grove Park, the Piper Palm House conservatory sits on an open-air plaza that overlooks the park’s historic lily ponds. With its distinctive architecture, including stately windows and soaring ceiling, towering palm trees, this space is often used for weddings and special events.
