Walk with a purpose

  • Piper Palm House 4271 Northeast Drive St. Louis, MO, 63110 United States (map)

A walk through Tower Grove Park can be the most relaxing part of your day, be it early morning, a midday break or an end to the demands of the day. As you wander the pathways and lawns, are you aware of the sights and sounds and textures? In his design of Tower Grove Park, Henry Shaw wanted to create an experience where visitors could discover different colors and textures in nature. Deepen your connection to nature by joining the Therapeutic Horticulture team of the Missouri Botanical Garden for a sensory awareness walk. Explore the nuances of nature that might surprise and delight. Suggestions and activities will be provided to remind you how to practice sensory awareness whenever you are outdoors. Join us for a slow paced, intentional walk and let the wonder of the park bring you peace and comfort.

The spring/summer session will be held from March until August.
